Re: Hum ho

It looks as though John doesn't seem to follow your thoughts very well... (not sure why that's so hard). Paul (as former lead developer) has as much to do with phpBB.Com has any other Team Leader. (Frank, SHS, wanrecord, Bart, myself) Likewise, area51 is a development area of phpBB. There is no diff...

Re: Difference phpBB 2.1.x Snapshots and CVS modulename phpb

[quote="Antaeogo":1fc53]> the last update was on 24 September. When I look at > http://phpbb.sourceforge.net/cvs/" target="_blank the updates are done on a hourly basis The cvs snapshots are made using a developer account (Paul's). There's no such thing as stupid questions. Only stupid answers :)

Re: Can't Reply

That's one of the perks of open source development. General users can evaluate the software as it is written. However, the developers are still working.

What exactly is the point of you giving bug reports when they are still working on the software?

Re: Can't Reply

This is _alpha_ software (which you apparently already know). Alpha software is inherently buggy. No support, no bug reports, period.

Re: Link to this Post!

This feature is useless anyways... Just copy what is in your address bar on your browser, and paste that where you need it. Actually, you're quite wrong. Let's say I want to link to a specific post halfway down the page. Kind of hard to do that with the address bar, isn't it? Anyway, the fea...

Re: Karma Level

Simple: the Admin sets his "vieuw" karma to -5 so he can see all the posts. Or he clicks on every "here" in the "see post here" sentence so all the posts are shown. GrandiJoos  I don't think that's quite what he means. The problem would be if an admin had a karma level of, say, -2, and users ...
