Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

You know Malphas.. I don't think its the developers job to cater to ONE side over the other. There are PLENTY of people that like the new design of viewtopic and anyone that wants it changed will get it changed. By coming to the support forum and asking how to change it. I think its an insult to all...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

I've already brought that up Amtitoon.. Acydburn said that the email gets sent the second the post gets posted. Just because the email doesn't get there that fast doesn't mean there is anyway of stopping it (thats the abridged version of what he said, anyway). But I do agree that there should be a 5...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

That is an interesting idea. As a style author, it would be nice to have less files to convert to a new design and having the ucp/mcp in separate folders would help with organization. But, I dont think the MCP should have the same style as the ACP. The ACP is supposed to have a complete separation f...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

The Mod Manager is not even at beta stage right now. So that is why there isn't a download link. It is being developed by maybe two or three people alongside their duties on the site as well as life and thats why it is being developed slowly.. Please dont get discouraged with phpBB.. It might just t...

You should know better than to ask that.. They make a joke with everyone that asks that because they dont want to be tied down to a date.

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

Alot of that was moved to 3.0.1dev at the same time it was commited to 3.1.. So very little of it is 3.1 exclusive.

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

Sorry if this has been said before, but are the phpBB 3.1 SVN files any different from the 3.0.0 release? How much work has been started? Theres been alittle work done on it. PHP4 support is already gone. But most everything so far has been backported into what will be the 3.0.1 release except for ...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion

Well, I would have to agree with Raimon somewhat. In some cases you would want to delete the entire style not just uninstall it, which is what happens when you just delete the style and not the template/theme/imageset. I think it would be useful to have a checkbox there to delete the entire style al...
