Re: Help: Including PHP

This setting is located in the Security Settings.
And AFAIK, the path you enter in the INCLUDEPHP tag is relative to the template folder.

Re: Old phpBB 3 versions

You can get a copy of phpBB's CVS repository of any given date. Just learn how to use CVS ;) (FYI you can find information about CVS on Sourceforge's documentation and certainly even more searching with Google ;))

Re: Some doubts in the GROUPS table

Oh yes you're right :?
Then it seems that group_display is no longer used (I did a quick search in the whole phpBB directory and didn't find any occurrence of group_display).
Could a developer confirm this?

Re: Some doubts in the GROUPS table

Oh... forget what I've said in my previous post... it was about custom bbcodes and not groups (I was certainly a bit tired when I wrote this :P)

If group_display is set to 1, the group will appear in the legend at the bottom of the index page (as Developers, Moderators, etc. are displayed here).

Re: Attachment problems.

After yesterday's commit, it is rather clear that the release candidate will be out very quickly now (for those who do not receive checkin emails: Acyd Burn has changed the language strings in the installer replacing all stuff concerning "Beta" into "Release Candidate"). Certainly not this evening o...

Re: Some doubts in the GROUPS table

If group_display is enabled, a button for that BBCode will be displayed on posting pages. group_desc_bitfield stores, as you said, the BBCode bitfield for the description of the group. The bitfield is a binary string (encoded with base64_encode) which stores for each BBCode tag whether one of the ta...

Re: Attachment problems.

Acyd, is there some way you could check for getimagesize() on install? (Should be simple, get the size of a image you know exists in the installation. If it returns false, you know something is wrong). It might be useful if it is noted in the installer that it isn't available, and that this will ca...

Re: 2 simple questions

Nice to see you Xaphos :)
Oh and I didn't know that you were preparing a formal French language pack :o That's a good news :) (moreover your translation for phpBB 2.0 was far better than the first official one).

Yes I thought :) Though I am not sure those ones will be released... Anyway, I am not as convinced for those smilies as I am for the new icons :)

Re: password md5s upon upgrade to phpbb3 - a corner case

I do not like your insinuation that us speakers of non western european languages are second-class users and us being "collateral damage" is alright. Ok, my language is just spoken by 14-15 million people but then again think of the Russians, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Arabs... Sorry if I offen...
