If you want HTML in your forum its really easy.. You literally have to change two lines in message_phraser.php (or maybe somewhere else? bbcode.php?) I guess this was about phpBB's own search indexing. Posts of private forums are indexed. In order to find them with the search you will first have to go into the forum and enter the password once. I am going to assume this is intended functionality. Password protected forums do not have their posts indexed, even if they have the option "Index Posts" selected in the ACP. It depends. This topic is not about Google indexing your site or not however. This is about urls being generated for the bots to search through. I'll be back with more info... I had to wait atleast 5 months before Google indexed my site fully. (it had spidered my site thousands and thousands of time...
