If you're going to have the feature to allow guest posting in phpBB, why not do it properly to require an avatar/nickname for that guest? It makes a lot of sense. A good idea would be have a default avatar but if the users email address(I think they should have to include one, not displayed) is ass...

Re: phpBB 3.2

I find it funny so many people are bitching about phpBB 3 not having AJAX. When just recently they found that the majority of STABLE and reliable AJAX implementations where found to have a serious security vulnerabilities allowing someone to execute dangerous arbitrary code on the host system.

Re: Locking Topics

This reminds me when someone recently suggested going through and moderating all GD posts. cammie895 are you suggesting and volunteering to be the first member of the SPAM DELETION team? There's more of it than you realize. Shorter more obvious answer is it's easier to hit lock than to go through th...

Re: Where can I get phpbb 3.0.B5 styles from?

Under the current circumstances they shouldn't. They aren't allowing publishing of mods/styles on the official site. Then obviously following true to their own rules, they shouldn't allow people to post links to them. While I'm sure all of the people at these links are competent programmers/style ma...
