Re: Consensus on Attachment Extensions..

From a security standpoint, no for PHP, pl, HTML and XML. From a logical standpoint, no for bmp. It is not an internet-ready image format, and should not be allowed to attach. NeoThermic Aha ok, well ill update the list to include this advice.. I was just wondering why cant XML and HTML be used, is...

Re: Consensus on Attachment Extensions..

Well yes, but why not produce a list of common extensions that could be used.. One that is a little bit more comprehensive than the current one is what I am suggesting.. I know allowing C#, PHP and Perl or anyother kind of webscripting technology would be not be the best, but I see no reason why we ...

I was wondering if people could make a list of Attachment Groups and Extensions in each group so we ...

Re: This Forum - Will it be deleted?

wait.... that means that it would just run on phpBB3 with just a bit of modifications until it started becoming phpBB4, right? Or is there a real real real early CVS of phpBB4 already? No there isnt, and its more likely to be 3.2 I believe, as the Community coding projects are expected to be comple...

Re: RC1 Including New Stuff?

Yes and no :P The ACP and installation are deliberately templated that way so that they are not dependent on any particular style. Thus it is highly unlikely that we will change the templates in any way. We might alter the CSS to some extent to synchronise colours/fonts a bit more but that would be...

Attachment Extensions permitted by default..

I was wondering if you guys had any plans to change the current list of allowed attachment extensions.. I personally use the OpenDocument Format as my main document format, I was just wondering if you were going to expand the list to include formats like this, also non-windows/real-media media forma...
