From what I gather, fortran is still alive and kicking, but its very specialist - structural engineering is where I know one person using it.

Basic isn't dead either, ASP is most certainly still using the language, albeit morphed beyond recognition

LDAP can talk to active directory, so you can have logging on based on windows username/password. If you wanted single sign-on (i.e. automatic authentication in an intranet situation), you'd probably need to write a mod.

Already running production on one charity members' site, started with a CVS checkout between b3 and b4, and used a 3rd party 2.x to 3.x converter (but had to modify it slightly to take account of later CVS changes).
