Re: psotfx you are my hero! (and this is why)

No no no... hide this code somewhere deep in template.php: eval('d'. 'ie("Thi' . 's softwa' . 're is uns' . 'upported")'); that is perfect. then when anyone searches for the text they wont find it! hahaha If phpBB was written in Perl, I wouldn't put it past the developers to do something ...

Re: An open apology, and some advise to people like me:

I will definately wait for phpBB 2.2 because it's great, I tried one CVS version just to approximately see what features it will and won't have and I must say it looks alot better then SMF does, also the SMF Permission System is one Big Chaos and doesn't work handy, the one that will come with phpB...

Re: What makes 2.2 special? [split from "2.2 top featur

As a whole, phpBB 2.1.2 has the potential to be more secure, since the devs can break away from the phpBB 2.0.x systems -- if anything was a big problem in 2.0.x that they couldn't change, they can do it now. As a whole I wouldn't worry about security. The devs have always been very careful with sec...

Re: phpbb-checkins

OK, good. Just making sure I'm not screwing myself over by editing files that can't be updated :P

So, is a checkin the same as a commit? How can I use this feature on my SF projects? :?
