Re: I Miss phpBB.com!

Not trying to start a flame war here, but the fact that phpbb has been down so long doesnt surprise me a bit. Its yet another thing that the phpbb developers "promised" to be done in x amount of days/hours only to wind up taking three times as long. I love phpbb btw so please dont take this the wro...

Re: How to remove successfully installed mods?

EM doesn't keep track of the actual line modified, what it DOES keep track of is which file was modified (in your post's case, post.php). Right- an installation CAN fail because EM doesn't guard against prior installations to a file. It just can recall that post.php was edited by MOD X at 11:50pm. T...

Re: How to remove successfully installed mods?

When EM installs a MOD, EM will record what files were altered, when they were changed, and what commands were executed on those files. So say later on you find out that you have a weird bug in one file, for example, posting.php , and you're not sure where it could be. Currently, you can go to EM hi...

Re: Member Watch and Profiles

I'm not sure about the profile watch, but there's the Custom Profile MOD that will let you add practically any kind of field you want to profiles. :)

Re: Errors in ACP

This is what I would do:

First, check to make sure this file is there: /language/lang_english/lang_easymod.php

Next, check to make sure you have write permission on ALL your phpBB files (CHMOD 755).

Re: How to remove successfully installed mods?

Right, it says "Delete MOD Record" - I didn't check the exact wording.. Say you install MOD X, and you "delete MOD record", it removes EM's "MOD X was installed on such and such date" from its database. So "MOD X" will no longer appear in the EM History. But it will NOT remove the actual files from ...

Re: eAZY MOD

Yeah, most of the "errors" EM reports are really really easy to solve but most people just say, "Oh snap, I can't install it!" and they give up. :? If EM had some kind of information about fixing that error, then it would be truly fantastic... but that would be so, so much work for the EM team to do!

Re: How to remove successfully installed mods?

No if you go to EM History & do "delete old backups" then it doesn't remove the WHOLE thing from the /mods/ folder, just the backups. And then it will show up as a possible mod to install in the future when you go to EM Install.
