If you click the very small "new post" icon (the one with the error pointing to it just left of the topic title) you will be able to read them. The forum number is listed as a "0" on the topic titles, but the little icon gets it right.

If you are new to PHP and phpBB, you shouldn't be using an unsupported alpha snapshot. Head over to the "regular" phpBB website and download the released version over there.
