Re: View Source
IE has many wierd and annoying quirks. It also supports a certain set of functions that make it possible to download malicious files just by going to a web page.

Re: Where 2 get 2.1.2
2.1.2 isn't a stable branch. The numbering follows the linux style, in which odd digits indicate an incomplete/in-development branch. When said branch is considered complete enough for a release, the version number increments to an even number, which in this case would be 2.2. If you don't know what...

Re: Moderator can edit admin post

Re: I need PHP5 support
PHP 4.3.x is quite stable on apache2. If there's any problems with stability, it may just be clashing plug-ins or even an unstable OS. I'm not trying to point fingers or anything, but I myself don't have problems and I'm running it all on a Windows box. I've also had no trouble running apache2+php4 ...

Re: Public beta?
Well, just hope for Milestone 4 to be a relatively small milestone, and it should be released this year. Or at least the RCs. it is :) milestone 4 won't take nearly as much time as 3 did/is doing I'd like to think that they intend to do a lot with the private messaging system seeing as it's isolate...

Re: Anonymous post tracking
It's near impossible to implement in any consistent manner. The functionality would be flaky at best.

You don't care that you're spreading misinformation?

Re: Time format
A link to the manual page that lists all the token's meanings would solve the problem of knowledge at least. PHP's site is set up for easy linking to function pages.

Re: Import/Uprade Styles from Previous Versions
The conversion of styles is impossible to automate in any practical fashion. It's a job that must be done by hand. Granted, some themes are easier to port such as the subSilver variants mentioned earlier. If the style authors are still active, then I'm sure they'll be obliged to get with the times w...
