PHP 4.3.x is quite stable on apache2. If there's any problems with stability, it may just be clashing plug-ins or even an unstable OS. Well, just hope for Milestone 4 to be a relatively small milestone, and it should be released this year. It's near impossible to implement in any consistent manner. The functionality would be flaky at best.

That aside, it's something that can be modified in easily.
