Re: [RFC] Site/Forum Map

I don't need it and a lot of boards won't need it also. An extension wolud be enough. I don't see why not. A page can be easily put together and a link added to the footer somewhere. The footer is very populated right now. If the aim of the extension system is make phpbb customizable and as light as...

I am not really sure it should be done automatically, but perhaps before running the update we give the user the option to backup the database instead. Otherwise this would make updating difficult for very large boards because they'd have to wait for a database backup every time (when there are bet...

Re: [RFC] user signature modifications for posts

It's complicated enough and in my opinion not really necesary. I have no idea what that means. What is complicated enough? Weel, if you need to: use cookies add tables in the db add a global permission add a user permision add a certain amount of code I would say that this feature is complicated en...

Re: [RFC] user signature modifications for posts

Re: [RFC] User Self Delete

Hard delete, but retain posts - (...) Posts are retained but appear to be posted by anonymous (using the user's username for the guest poster, I think?) The username should be kept, in my opinion, so topics keep making sense (who said what). (I suppose this is what you mean by "posted by anonymous ...

Wasn't that Alt+Enter?

Re: Control-Enter for form submission

I was thinking about something like this yesterday, sending the post via keyboard. Control+Enter seems fine.
