Re: How is the flash bbcode suppose to work?

Ok, well, it is possible to fix the image tag problem with a custom BB code tag created in the admin... with the tag

Code: Select all

[image={URL}]{TEXT}[/image]
and the html replacement

Code: Select all

<img src="{URL}" alt="{TEXT}" />
However, I tried something similar for a custom flash tag and it didn't work.

Re: How is the flash bbcode suppose to work?

Is there something I can change to stop <!-- m --> being put around every URL in a post? It's messing up image and flash tags on my test forum, because if I post this: [swf=200,300]http://adventonegraphics.com/flash/BigRedButton.swf[/swf] it converts that link into this (the unimportant parts of the...

Styling question

If I make a template or style for the snapshot of phpBB2.2 now, will it be easy to convert to the final version?

I.e., is it worth making a template/style now? or should i wait till 2.2. is released?

If I install phpBB 2.1 on a website, then, when i have tried it out, will I be able to delete it, adn clear the database, so that I can put phpBB 2.0 on?

Re: Can I donwload phpBB 2.2 beta?

Could someone please points me to the page where I can get the pre-alpha version of phpBB 2.2. I can only ind CVS snapshots of phpBB 2.1 here

Or are the version 2.1.x's the milestones for 2.2?

Thanks,

Can you clear the database?

If I install the hourly snapshot of phpBB 2.1, then is there a way to completely clear the database when I want to switch bakc to a stabe version of 2.0.4? And then will it be like I never put 2.1 on it?

(And btw, when I clikc on the CVS snapshot, it says 2.1. But is taht avtually 2.2?)
