The OOP functions of PHP are not very good (even in php5) and they do, like in every other language, slow down performance (just look at java!).

Incredably, you people are making it seem that the PHPBB team HATES developing this software WANTS to quit doing it BUT is being slave driven to do it... Maybe we should turn things around: phpbb team if you're going to whine about us whining go do something else with your 2 minutes or so of free ti...

I doubt that things like this will actually be replied to but i'll give ya a bump anyway... I'm sure they'll find some way to achieve this though with minimal headache (as always)
