Re: Outlining a New Theme

Sorry have not been keeping this up to date as things have gone through so many changes since I created this. Also it takes time away from working on it to main the post. I have been working hard to get more and more components out. And internally we discussed some ways to speed up the development o...

Re: Which IE versions should we kill?

this topic is dead and as such the decisions have already been made... We are using autoprefixer to determine our browser support going forward

Re: Releasing 3.2.2

I would duplicate the above to include the previous minor version as well ie 3.1.11 -> 3.2.1 or w/e at the time should be two for each essentially.

Re: 2. Why is a framework so usefull?

it will be something you will want to use regardless of your skill level. I am not going to beat around the bush Its a large undertaking in and of itself, and it will require a lot of logistics to get it done but once it's built the benefit will be vastly far-reaching. it's essentially a repurposing...

Re: 2. Why is a framework so usefull?

there is a plan for a hosted live styleguide editor to answer all these concerns you would essentially select the component you want to change make the changes to the available variable settings or make changes to the code itself. Should Usernames include emoji?

Currently we do not support emoji in usernames. Is this something that we should allow if not we should add a better error msg then general sql error which is what happens when you try to register with one.

Re: URL with post number (limits of the feature)

I do not think they ever had f+p for a past, they may have had t#p currently when viewing a topic you have f+t so what you are really asking for is f+t#p instead of f+t+p#p I am not sure why we use f+t+p#p. The only reason I can see to require the +p is for paging so the link knows what page to go t...

Re: Indicate who hasn't read a multi-user PM

seeing as how I have not worked on the ucp pages for re-design I can think it over for when I do the pm stuff. With prosilver IDC to really put much thought into it so the simplest method will win. Also, it depends on what info we have access to and on what page. do we only show it when viewing a pm...

Re: ACP UX Improvements

well also if it all happened in at once and to include a re-design as well i doubt we would want to release it under the guise of a minor release which would be from your perspective a non-issue in that case.
