Re: 2. Why is a framework so usefull?

it will be something you will want to use regardless of your skill level. I am not going to beat around the bush Its a large undertaking in and of itself, and it will require a lot of logistics to get it done but once it's built the benefit will be vastly far-reaching. it's essentially a repurposing...

Re: 2. Why is a framework so usefull?

there is a plan for a hosted live styleguide editor to answer all these concerns you would essentially select the component you want to change make the changes to the available variable settings or make changes to the code itself. Then you simply save it as a new custom personalized theme. Its all f...

Should Usernames include emoji?

Currently we do not support emoji in usernames. Is this something that we should allow if not we should add a better error msg then general sql error which is what happens when you try to register with one.

Re: URL with post number (limits of the feature)

I do not think they ever had f+p for a past, they may have had t#p currently when viewing a topic you have f+t so what you are really asking for is f+t#p instead of f+t+p#p I am not sure why we use f+t+p#p. The only reason I can see to require the +p is for paging so the link knows what page to go t...

Re: Indicate who hasn't read a multi-user PM

seeing as how I have not worked on the ucp pages for re-design I can think it over for when I do the pm stuff. With prosilver IDC to really put much thought into it so the simplest method will win. Also, it depends on what info we have access to and on what page. do we only show it when viewing a pm...

Re: ACP UX Improvements

Re: ACP UX Improvements

In regards to the ACP style. Its might be best to leave it as its own style but overhaul to be based on one of the open front-end frameworks that already have countless admin UI available for it. Pick one we like fit it our software to it and vice-verse then release this way we can take advantage of...

Re: Releasing 3.2.2

me and nicofuma discussed this in Budapest, but what about changing git diff release-3.2.1 release-3.2.2-RC1 phpBB/styles/prosilver/ > prosilver_changes_3.2.1_to_3.2.2-RC1.diff so that we diff the style changes by focus ie... CSS: git diff release-3.2.1..release-3.2.2-RC1 -w -- phpBB/styles/prosilve...

Re: Why script-tags are placed at the bottom of the page in Prosilver?

in any case there are far more instances where placing it in the head is problematic than not so as a standard we start with the foot and only break out of this if absolutely necessary. That is the philosophy we follow. Please give me at least one concrete example why it's problematic. I have had j...
