Re: phpBB 3.2.6-RC1 released

No 3.3 will be a new branch created off of 3.2.6 with 7.3 support and a few selective things. Master branch = 4.0

3.3: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pulls?q= ... 3A3.3.0-a1

Re: phpBB 3.2.6-RC1 released

If I have not encountered them in about a month on a production board, I find that highly unlikely. My point was that denying installation for those that are willing to take the responsibility, when it's clearly working fine for some, is annoying, a warning would've sufficed. Especially since knowi...

Re: Control panel module system

not sure whee you are stuck but the whole concept of control panel needs to go away in my opion. you should have admin route for all the acp stuff and everyrthing related the mcp/ucp needs routed to the main model. ie topics controller should have the ability to perfrom mcp actions for topics etc...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

That’s all well and good but change is inevitable and that’s one major reason why we are releasing this as a major version. Besides it will all be done via js and fallback to normals without it so you can simply disable it for your forum. Also keep in mind with chameleon we can and will have several...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

So one idea is to not have it infinitely scroll at first. But to instead still require to use of the nav, to go to the next set first then uniformly scroll from there. This would allow you to see the footer initially the normal way then from there you still have the top and bottom nav jump buttons. ...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

None of this is true. It’s totally doable to come up with an elegant navigation on mobile that is functional and works. Sticky does not mean always sticky or always the same. Yes the challenge is always customization but it’s primary nav . Since when is that ever been very customizable. There are is...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

I agree with Louis. It works ok with content that is the same everywhere, but for example take a look at subcategories list there. So you scroll down to find thread you are looking for, then decide to navigate to subcategories. What happens? Scrolling up again goes through every single page, which ...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

constructive criticism 😜perhaps elaborate on what the issues are? keep in mind as I mentioned the implementation needs some work. they lack a jump to page feature which could easily be added. It sill uses pages and even dynamically updates the page count. Also again as I mentioned they need a sticky...

Re: ICONS - How to handle SVG explained

using this as reference https://codepen.io/hanakin/pen/GPZvev?editors=1100 What is "post icons" section for? I'm confused because that list doesn't match functionality of prosilver. yeah its hard to categorize everything easily thing in prosilver. Its even more out of control in the new theme. This...

Re: ICONS - How to handle SVG explained

cool... All FontAwesome stuff has been converted. Most icons have been replaced with similar FontAwesome 5 icons because they are much better designed, some were replaced with icons from different sets. using this as reference https://codepen.io/hanakin/pen/GPZvev?editors=1100 to make it easier can ...
