same here i cant change permissions on file . i dont seem to have other issues with images i think i will just announce members to reupload.. seconds for them = hours of searching for me

thanks for reply Gurley.. strange thing is this is not hapening for all members.. they can view newly uploaded avatars but no older ones ive changed the permissions for now on the avatars folder to 777 which allows viewng and writing... but still no joy

i accidently deleted my whole forum while attempting a domain transfer.. luckily i had a copy on my desktop and got it back up.. but a lot of members have lost the ability to see any avatars .. the display avatars check in profiles is yes..any ideas on this would be appreciated..

i have found it is not possible to access database from different domain,, but im still looking for any staff member who can move my forum to new domain for pay.. is it ok for me to ask that??

is it possible to move my forum to another domain (same host ) but have my database still on the old domain? and if so are there any members of staff who do this sort of thing for pay?

purged cache in acp.. no change i then purged manually through ftp and still the same? thanks for your quick reply pitbull. if you have any more ideas im willing to try anything

acp not working correctly
i have a problem with my acp i tried installing.. upcoming birthday 1.0.1.. and it never worked.. i did a full back before i started and backed up the changed files seperately.. after it never worked i replaced changed files and everything was fine except the acp had changed.. it now shows all link ...
