Re: Convert MS SQL Server -> MySQL

I have not upgraded my 302 installation to 304 and converted the database with the MySQL Migration tool. It seemed to work but when I attempt to post to the new database I get the following error: SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Field 'topic_last_poster_name' doesn't have a default value [1364] SQL INSERT INTO...

Re: Convert MS SQL Server -> MySQL

OK I tried converting the 302 database on SQL Server to MySQL using the MySQL migration kit. Seemed to work but when I try to show the index.php page I get the following error: SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version f...

Re: Installation on 64-Bit 2003 Server with SQL Server

After running the install probably 50 times tweaking the rights, the tables only get created if the database user has db_denydatareader and db_denydatawriter rights. If I leave those rights set throughout the installation I get the above error. If instead after the tables are created I remove those ...

Re: Installation on 64-Bit 2003 Server with SQL Server

Ok I added all the owned schemas and role members and now the tables are created. On the Create Database Tables function of the install I get the following error after all the tables are created: install_install.php [ 1230 ] SQL : INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES ('active_...

Re: Unable to convert previous forum

The previous version is 302 so I can see why the convert failed. Is there a 3.0 SQL Server to MySQL converter?

Unable to convert previous forum

I'm trying to convert my forum to use MySQL but when I attempt to convert an older SQL Server database via the install pages I always get the following error: Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again. » ../phpbb3 was specified as the source path. my old foru...

Unable to access admin module

I created a new php forum site on a 32-bit Windows 2003 Server using MySQL. The installation completed but when I attempt to access the admin control panel I get the following error:

General Error
Module not accessible

What module??? How can I debug this?
