Are you referencing phpbb2 or 3? I have yet to find anything that looks like the "quoted" portion of your post in phpBB3.

Are you purging the cache and refreshing the style when you make a change? If you mean refreshing my browser - yes. If you mean tinkering around with the cache (which I have no idea about how to manage) - no. In fact, now I am not sure if I should be trying to change colors in templates of themes??...

I have repeatedly changed background colors and the effort has had 0, none, nada, zip affect on the board.

Maybe I should leave my number if help ever arrives on the styling thread?
