Re: [NEW THEME] 4. JS frameworks & approach

XenForo (a bit off topic I know). But when they released XenForo 2 not long ago, they was faced with the exact same problem. That not one of the mods free or paid for XenForo 1, would work with XF2. Every single mod had to be re-written. Now that was a big thing for them because they depend big time...

Re: [NEW THEME] 4. JS frameworks & approach

I understand that most extensions use proSilver style. But at the end of the day you cannot let that hold you back from not implementing a more modern and up-to-date style. You can argue the same thing if somebody decides to use a custom theme, that many extensions might not work with it. But people...

Re: [NEW THEME] 4. JS frameworks & approach

Pretty sure the ones created in the past year or two were about the same theme and just broken down into parts for easier decision-making hence the number at the beginning of the topic title. Care to provide some examples of these "many different topics"? Well let me put it this way. 2 ye...

Re: [NEW THEME] 4. JS frameworks & approach

How many different topics is there posted here now about working on a different theme? I've lost count how many different topics there's been on the "same subject" (using something different each time). Isn't it about time you just settled on something and got a new theme made for phpBB an...

Re: Releasing 3.2.1

I think both 3.2.1 and 3.1.11 should be due anytime in next 7-9 days. I read 3.1.x goes EOL at the end of this month, but a last release is being made prior to that happening. It's now 21st of the month, so I think a release of both should be coming at same time to coincide with end of this month an...

Re: Has someone been updating Area51's board software?

The form submit buttons do look a lot better now using a larger size, compared to how they looked in the initial release of phpBB 3.2, which they looked too small. Have you carried this same change across with the form submit buttons into the Admin CP for consistency there also to match the front-en...

Re: Do We Still Need Auto Update?

I agree, don't stop the patch files option. Some of us now have to upgrade our forums that way with "far fewer files to upload". Otherwise it becomes a huge job upgrading your forum with the full upgrade package when you've made changes. At least with the patch files, 9 times out of 10 you...

Re: Releasing 3.1.11

What about all the pending issues open on the tracker for 3.1.11? Specially events, simple enough to review... And some bugs... Not enhancements, i understand. Thanks! -javiexin Well, I hope this show stopper is fixed in next version. This is a serious bug and still shows as unsolved I reported bac...
