3.0.0 - Login problems, et al.
Just upgraded from latest RC to 3.0.0 /1/ On IE, if I login, its being redirected to index page as guest (essentially forced logout). Also tried couple of cookie tricks mentioned somewhere on this board, but didn't help. However, login goes ok on Firefox. /2/The buttons as "NEWTOPIC" appea...

Overriding user's "Edit Display Options"
Is there any way, administrator can preset every user's UCP -> Board Preferences -> Edit Display Options? (Among remaining options in UCP) Display topics from previous days: Display topics ordering by: Display topic order direction: Btw, above three lines are being displayed twice under UCP.. probab...

Re: New user registration control
Its getting little confusing :) I only wished for this requirement (in case where Admin approval is required for new registration) (1) User fills up new registration request (2) Admin will review (user details, for e.g. not using any indecent username etc.) and can approve this registration request,...

About Previous, Next topic link in Prosilver
This has been discussed already, but have developers given any thought of providing link to previous/next topic inside Topic page (in Prosilver). This would be a value addition... after all we have many other features as tons of smilies most of which are not used often. Someone searching for informa...

Re: iframe bbcode not possible?
Shoes, we've used it before as well, but I echo what was said before... I STRONGLY recommend NOT using an iframe BBCode, but find another method to achieve your goal... even if it's a MOD, trust me, you don't want to open up the ability for users to exploit a security hole. My Linux Webhosting admi...

Changing folder name after install
To avoid conflicting with new CMS, I have changed phpbb folder name, everything seems to work fine.
Do I need to change something still? There is a path name in ACP which is still mapped to old path.

New user registration control
New user registration approval by "admin" is good in order to check sanity of basic data before approving, but, there is no way, correctness of email address can be verified. However, if approval is by "user himself", then email address is verified but not "sanity check"...

Re: Some features would be nice
(2) Member list should be public, so as "Find a Member" search screen Nicholas -> I couldn't figure out a way for this. Did you manage to find? (3) "Find a Member" should include custom profile fields, for searching. Does any MOD exist for this :) Another wish would be 16) Able ...
