Re: Troubles with RC4 release?

Just wondering: are you perhaps using an outdated language pack? I had some trouble with my index.php coughing up warnings in the same situation. Depending on your PHP configuration, this could also end in a blank page, I guess.

Re: Reset Statistics - Is that really the best place?

Methinks that's a good point. :D

Not a feature request, more of a „bug report“ in the sense that it bugs me, too… ;)

Well, that doesn't say too much…

Re: Search Bot Functionality

I think this could be a converter problem. I upgraded from phpBB 2.0.22, and stumbled across the fact that Google et al. were able to access a forum that was accessible to registered users only on my old site. Somehow, the "Bots" group got read access from the converter run [technically, this is not...

Re: Search Bot Functionality

Why are you worried about that? If a user fakes a bot agent, they will see less of the forums, not more. Or am I missing something (e.g. are you worried that a search engine spider might be "disguised" as a real user? In that case, they would be to blame - they get the "more machine readable stuff" ...

Re: Having this on another test forum (not live)

Since you started mentioning the templates, I'm not quite sure I understand your problem: do you want to enable the font size selector? Disable it? Disable the font size-bbCode? :?:

Re: Suspecting RC1 very soon!

IMHO we have to be careful with the assumption that a mod which works perfectly on single installations will also work if it ships with phpBB3 ! Firstly, all the blackhats will also have that "mod" in that case. Secondly, they will pump all their efforts to circumvent that new way of preventing bots...
