Hi, and welcome.

Thanks for letting us know. We'll take a look at what's happening and get it fixed.

Re: Template engine changes to allow for structure flexibility

developer11, nobody is suggesting increasing the number of files in phpBB by orders of magnitude, which is the only way for disk quotas to apply anywhere in this discussion. All modern filesystems supporting storing billions or trillions of files. If your hosting requires you to worry about file cou...

Re: Releasing 3.1.3

I dont get it - you say that you do not want to wait anymore, but you have not implemented/rejected what has been suggested long ago..... and some features (or plans to implement them) go from one release to next one..... its better to say that sth will not be implemented than doing this...... That...

Re: Template engine changes to allow for structure flexibility

I'm not sure how easily we can drop prosilver for 3.2. I think we've indicated in various places that 3.1 is the last supported version for subsilver, and 3.2 would be the last version for prosilver. I agree. At the moment, the new style is not in a place where we can guarantee its arrival in time ...

That's not to say that someone from the community won't pick it up and update it.

Re: MyISAM to InnoDB

Oh, errors won't be rare at all. When I ran a few scripts on the phpBB.com a few years ago, I found lots of stranded posts (not attached to any topic) and topics (not attached to any forum). Then there were a few users without a group. Most of these were very old and carried over from phpBB 1 or ear...

Re: MyISAM to InnoDB

phpBB can force the database engine, but it's not its place to do so. Either the administrator knows what they are doing and has intentionally specified the correct engine to use, or they have no idea what they're doing, in which case the logical thing to do is trust the server administrator, who ho...

Re: Combine Related functionality (UI Cleanup)

And if it's not done, then someone please say what isn't done about it, so that those who are working on it can get it done.

This is a massive UI improvement to a component that receives more interaction than probably any other. If you don't consider this critical, then I respectfully disagree.

Re: [RFC] Contact Page

As per M.Gaetan89, this is the reason why extensions are being prioritized. The contact page, as it exists, solves a problem and is sufficient for probably 99% of forums. If you want a more niche implementation, then that's totally understandable: simply install an extension.

Re: Combine Related functionality (UI Cleanup)

Once again, ACP and MCP have absolutely nothing to do with the profile or the user account. They are advanced tools available to certain people who have those permissions. They are not functions of the user's account, and it makes absolutely no sense for them to be listed there.
