Re: FTP ERROR: could not change directory to [xxx]

Hmm.... update! For some reason my web server is now working! It's no longer failing on my test script, nor is it failing with easymod 0.3.0! :D I asked my sever provider what changed, but I have not received an answer yet. From what I can see, I am still using PHP 4.4.0. So whatever the problem was...

Re: FTP ERROR: could not change directory to [xxx]

I'm trying to convince them to work on this. But I'm the only one complaining so they don't feel much pressure to get it fixed yet. Unfortunately, they've banned PHPBB from their servers due to all the security attacks it gets without the needed fixes. Mostly because stupid users don't stay up to da...

Re: [0.2.1a]path errors like: admin/./mods/ and .../easymod/

Well... I was able to download EM 0.3.0, thanks!

But I STILL have my can't FTP issue! :(

I'm starting to wonder if part of my server is broken. Why wouldn't I be able to FTP a 49K file when a 2K file works just fine?

Thanks Nux ;)
Thanks for this great news! I tried about 5 mirrors, they didn't have this file yet. I'll have to be patient for it to replicate.

Re: FTP ERROR: could not change directory to [xxx]

Hmm..... did you try it with an input file that was 49K or larger?

If you try it with the default settings, it will work as the source file is very small.

Re: FTP ERROR: could not change directory to [xxx]

I thought about the timeout issue. However, I wouldn't think that a server would take 90 seconds to do a local copy of a 49K file. It should do it much quicker, 90 seconds should be plenty of time. I let one or two test cases 'run' for a while, I never recieved a timeout or error message. There neve...

Re: FTP ERROR: could not change directory to [xxx]

Hmm.. I hope I don't have to wait until PHP 5 to get loaded on my servers, my web provider just updated us to PHP 4.4.0. He says PHP 4.4.1 will be soon. Perhaps people can try this test and see what results they get on their version of PHP. I updated the code to display the version of PHP that the c...
