Re: phpBB 2.1/2.2 Development FAQ

And what if he use IPB? At least IPB is functional, but I can't say the same thing about Olympus. Indeed, I also have the feeling that the project is stalled and there's no developer in charge with sustained work on Olympus.

As if keeping people in the dark will make them more happy. As if without a status update people don't realise how stalled is this project.

Re: My 2 Cents

It seems (in my oppinion) that developer's interest in this project and/or this community is down the hill. It was announced as the greatest thing in the world since 4 years ago when all this madness started and now developers are mad because people keep want to know why this project is like a never...

Re: Forum function question

Alternatively, "zapps" -being the thread-starter of this thread- could also easily lock his own threads by himself, rather than delegating that task to any of the phpBB guys ;-) If it's difficult to understand, let me explain. I posted a question regarding a feature and I hope that someone will be ...

Forum function question

I wonder if Olympus has the following feature available: when an admin or moderator visit a topic, to close it automatically with a predefined message when they leave the topic page :)

Re: For all who wants to know the release date

If you want a finished phpBB forum, use 2.0.x; if you want to use another forum go use it and get away from here. There. I'm finished. -Aldenhier Sorry, I quoted only this part because the rest of your post was useless. And what I quoted from your post shows that you are redundant and just repeatin...

Re: For all who wants to know the release date

The topic is uneccesary, it's all been said before, just do a search, it isn't too hard. Also i'd rather wait for 3.0 than pay for a forum. Besides, phpBB has a far better support community than the others. It's proven that open source generally fixes bugs faster than normal software. Answering you...
