forgot password

I forgot the password to EM. I looked at the FAQ to jakeboy's guide but his site is gone. I couldn't search in this forum because I couldn't choose which forum to search in. So how do I do this via phpMyAdmin? Forgot your EM Password? Starting with 0.0.11, your EM password is now MD5 encrypted and t...

Re: Will phpBB3 have MODs?

Acutally plug-in system doesn't change any of the code. Unless it is somewhat like EasyMOD. Plugin system, [referring to vB] just changes database, and adds new templates. No point of plugin system.

Re: Will phpBB3 have MODs?

Again, not necessarily. You must overcome your anti-MODs attitude simply because they alter the core code. The better-coded MODs are the ones that don't change the core code entirely (like Categories Hierarchy) but act more modular-like. The ones that do change the core code a lot are bad. Sorry if...

Re: Migrating from 2.X to Olympus

This thread makes it seem like phpBB 3 is gonna release within next month. :P
Wondering, if the board if heavily MODded, is it still possible to at least convert the users, posts, forums, and some other important tables?

Re: List of all the features in phpbb3

That will make the best open-source phpBB ever. I just hope it will be released by this year. Last time I used it, almost everything was working except the stupid database backup tool.   This just rocks. It is phpBB 2.0.x packed with so many MODs, [well not really] that it is a wh...

Re: Login?

For the logout to work, include page header and use the login/logout variable. Or in if statement, if logged in, make the link logout, and if not logged in, make it to login.

Re: Migrating from 2.X to Olympus

The bad part is, the more MODs you have installed, the worse the upgrade will be. So better to stay away from those MODs.

Re: Login?

You must include common.php before you do that and must initialize user session data. The code you have hasn't included that or hasn't started the session. Not sure it will work. I am basing this on phpBB 2.0.x not anything newer.
