So, what was the solution? I'm having the same problem. You have to create a new folder and right click on it and hit cvs checkout. then enter this for cvsroot: :pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/phpbb Then for the module name type: phpBB2 It will say there is an empty password, but it...

i guess this could be considered support, but its not for phpbb. Im using TortoiseCVS and it keeps saying when i try to checkout modules(getting the list of them) it keeps saying: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password cvs.exe [checkout aborted]: authorization failed: server cvs....

yea. I think he means things like myspace and stuff like that.DoD wrote: phpBB is designed as stand alone forum software. It doesnt need to be integrated into anything.
If you want it integrated into anything, then you are more than welcome to do that yourself.

thats not a permissions issue on the server. The ftp account that you used didnt have sufficent access.

in your phpbb database go to the easymod table. If you have phpmyadmin just check off the table and hit browse and delete the easymod table. uh did you change template styles that would do it. You then would have to copy the easymod tpl files into the other styles directory
