Re: phpBB 3.2.6 FORM_TOKEN on login

To not do so means any style which had implemented login forms "on additional pages" are now broken in phpBB 3.2.6 and later, and can't fix it through changes to the style. That is not necessarily true. The style author can remove the functionality from the style. I don't believe that it is the res...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

Whilst all of this "fancy" scrolling is admirable from a technical perspective, and possibly a challenge in development terms, I think that we are loosing sight at who all of this is aimed at - the end user, not developers, not extension/style creators, not board owners but the end user. Changing ho...

Re: library/API

I would suggest that you use the correct terminology as I believe that you are referring to forum not a board.

Board = a number of fora
Forum = a number of topics
Topic = a number of posts

Re: Control panel module system

The whole point of extensions was supposed to be that they would be backwards compatible with all future versions until the point wher...

Re: Control panel module system

In any redesign of modules (ACP, MCP, UCP) is any consideration being given to how extensions currently use modules or are virtually all extensions going to have to be re-written?

Re: Control panel module system

Whilst I would not discount any of the above as being potential problems, and I would agree that there are some areas that need blocking, I would ask is this actually a problem in the real world. By that I mean is there any data on users actually having these problems as I cannot recall any support ...

Re: Ideas. Standard Style Improvements.

In my opinion both pagination and "Load more" have their place and it is also dependant on where you are on the board and your role on the board. "Load more" for a topic to display posts is, in most cases, probably OK as generally, in my experience, you only go back/forward one or two pages - I am s...
