Re: Sorry to put it here but I cant post in the other forum

Have you tried installing other MODs? If not, then my guess is that you need to verify that you have the correct settings in the "EasyMOD" settings panel. I know it worked for me with the FTP settings, so I'd suggest using those if you have FTP access. I don't know about others.

Re: [Request] MOD pack Wishlist
Well, everybody should make yours MOD list, so when the "Final MOD list" is done, someone who knows PHP very well could pack then all to be compatible with EasyMOD. What do you think about that?
Devil's advocate here.... I think you will find that...

Re: MODs Reappearing
Then what do you think is wrong? Maybe that calls for a new EasyMOD version!
Apparently EasyMOD is being smart in being able to tell that you upgraded the board without upgrading the MODs. The easymod datatable records the phpBB version you installed the MOD in. If...

An EasyMOD success story

I just wanted to say that I've actually had fun fixing some of the mods out there and getting them to install through EasyMOD. It's especially helpful when you have loads of styles installed on the board (as we do since the users are so hard to satisfy sometimes). A list of those I've installed are:...

Re: Is it kosher to modify a file that you are copying?

The point is that I would like to distribute this as a MOD that the user can then apply without doing any editting by hand. Isn't that what EasyMOD is supposed to be about in the first place????? The user can supply a file (chat.js) that he does not write, but ggets from the makers of DigiChat. But ...

Is it kosher to modify a file that you are copying?

I'm creating a MOD to interface with an outside program, but in order to make it work right I have to modify the files provided from the other program after I copy them into the phpBB directories. Naturally, when I try to do this with EasyMOD it complains that the file is not there, even though the ...

Re: OK. This is really odd. My password and all config info

OK... this is odd. I tried running the install script again, and again no errors, but this time the config entries got put back into the table. It didn't mess with the easymod table, so all the mods are still there. But this is just plain wierd.

OK. This is really odd. My password and all config info gone

I was installing some mods into phpBB2.0.8a, since I'm trying to replace a heavily modded 2.0.4. But here I am having successfully installed my 10th mod (or so) and I go to install another, type in my password and get " INVALID PASSWORD SUPPLIED ". But it can't be! So I look at the phpbb_c...

Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards

This may be a stupid question but.. Here goes. I would like to make my MOD EMC compliant, is there a way to verify this? I don't see anything like a template checker (like they have for the standard mod syntax). Any chance I juct can't find it? Any chance (assuming there is none), that you'll be put...
