it's located in "board settings" in the cvs i'm playing with.

so there will be something like a "bump button" showing up after so many days that the original poster can press and the post will show up at the top?

The search isn't working, so:

In Board Settings it says: "Number of minutes, hours or days between the last post to a topic and the ability to bump this topic."

What does this mean and do? Sry if I'm beeing stupid, ...again

thank you for your replies i agree with those of you that said that there are issues with the board when you translate it to other languages, but that's not what i was wondering about. what i thought of was something like Graham said, about a custom field and that that field controls the name variat...

On my board we use royal and military ranks. But it's a bit "stupid" that a female is called Emperor, not Emperess. Will this be possible in Olympus? I guess not, but then would this be something that will be easy/difficult to mod?

from experince, how long does the beta stages last? i guess no one knows or can tell?

I'm not so familiar with using beta software and was just wondiering how safe it would be using it? It seems to me that everybody is extremely anxious to get their hands on a copy of the new release, and will start using it as soon as the beta is available for public download? I assume serious bugs ...

maybe because release of 2.2 is near, and then this board will become the 2.4 dev board?
