One functionnality that lacks on most forums is indeed that formatting is only suitable for "professionnals": people do not have a WYSIWYG editor but just a "tag adder utility", which may get confusing... Hello. In phpBB, folders are "protected" with a blank index.htm file... Maybe this should be replaced with an index.php file, containing:

Users would then be slowly redirected to the forum root... Hum?

Hello. I have seen that "birthday" and even "sex" has been implemented to phpBB... That's beautiful, and what about real name and real surname? I know it will in all cases take about 2 minutes to add, still that feature is used by lots of forums using mods and should perhaps be included in the "stan...
