Update 3.3.9 to 3.3.10-RC1 went good, no problems as far as I can see. Used "changed files" package
PHP 7.3.3 / MySQL(i) 10.5.18 / MariaDB-1:10.5.18

Re: phpBB 3.3.9-RC1 released
I did 2 tries to update my test board 3.3.8 -> 3.3.9-RC1 (PHP 7.3). One with changed files, than with full package. Both ended with errors causing by 2 extensions - e.g. Board3 Portal Fatal error: Uncaught Twig\Error\LoaderError: Looks like you try to load a template outside configured directories (...

Re: Which browser do you like best?
In past it was FF, but now all development is Chrome oriented, and Firefox is crap now. And so I use Chrome now generally. But of course Opera, Firefox and Edge are installed, too. May be I need them for test something...

Re: new features
I'm sure the developers know what features they are developing.
We will find out which of these make it into the finished software when it is published. In the meantime you could research by reading this board.

Re: phpBB 3.3.0-b2 released
david63: the same for me with a fresh new installation - this broken cron image. @Scanialady: Try to add this line into the .htaccess file located in your phpBB root Folder: Options -MultiViews Seems to help - the broken image is gone, thank you. What does this option do? I can not find it with Goog...

Re: phpBB 3.3.0-b2 released

Re: Google Maps
Apparently, Google Maps Api is no longer usable for free (6.2018?). Maybe that's why there is no extension for it. The developer would have to have access to the interface.

Re: [PHPBB3-15928] Remove support for downloading backups
I don't like this idea to remove support for downloading backups. And I don't like the "one founder"-idea. Permissions to download a backup can save or compromit a board as well. However, assigning the rights incorrectly is a human problem, not one of the software. To have at least 2 found...

Re: PHPBB3-14518 One click update - proposal for 3.3
A good idea for me, too - 1 click update is a long time requested feature. Most software with one click update does it in several steps - download the new, (deactivate board?) uninstall the old one without deleting the data, install the new one - clear cache (activate board?). I think it is usual to...
